From random walk in random scenery to charged polymer and L^2 modulus of continuity of brownian local time

Abstract:

In this talk, I will talk about some the weak convergence and some related limit laws for random walk in random scenery, charged polymer, and $L^2$ modulus of continuity of Brownian local time. More specifically, I will explore the links among these three models. Part of of the talk is based on collaborative work with Davar Khoshnevisan, Wenbo Li, Michael Marcus and Jay Rosen.
