Balance Color


There are many schemes for organizing colors and navigating the relationships among them. Entire books are devoted to the display of "working" color combinations, and graphic designers consult them regularly. Most schemes are based on color wheels (such as the Munsell Hue Circuit, shown here). A few simple principles, such as those on the following pages, describe how to use these wheels when choosing color combinations.
