If you are traveling to the conference by air,
be sure to fly into Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).
It is approximately a 30 minute drive from RDU to Duke
University. We will be arranging free rides from the airport to
Duke University or to the Brookwood Inn on Thursday, April 29th.
The pick-up times from RDU on April 29th are 3 pm, 5 pm, 7
pm, and 9 pm. If you need transportation from the airport at a
different time, you will have to arrange it on your own. RDU airport has two terminals- Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 (see the RDU map).  If you arrive in Terminal 1, meet for a ride at Baggage Claim 1 at one of the specified times (3 pm, 5 pm, 7 pm, or 9 pm). If you arrive in Terminal 2, meet for a ride at Baggage Claim 2 at one of the specified times (3 pm, 5 pm, 7 pm, or 9 pm). We are
also arranging free rides from Duke University to RDU on Sunday, May
2nd. The departure times from Duke on May 2nd are 1
pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm. If you need
transporation to the airport at a different time, you will have to
arrange it on your own.
Bus between Duke University and UNC- Chapel Hill
The Robertson bus provides free transportation between Duke University and UNC- Chapel Hill. The bus ride is
approximately 30 minutes. Please see the Robertson bus website for more information and the bus schedule.

For detailed information about parking at Duke University, please see Duke University's Parking website.  We recommend that conference participants park in Parking Garage IV (PGIV), which is located very close to the Physics building where the conference will be held.  This lot has a rate of $2.00 per hour and a maximum daily charge of $12.00.  If you have received travel funding from the conference, we will be able to refund your parking expenses, provided that you submit all receipts and that your total travel expenses do not exceed $300.
