I am a Phd student in the Department of Mathematics and a member of the Koelle Lab at Duke University.
I use mathematical techniques, particularly from differential equations and
stochastic processes, to understand open questions
in the ecology and evolution of infectious diseases and in physiology.
My current research is on
the role of host immune status in immune escape,
the evolution of virulence, and
insect respiration.
