| We will practice doing problems for the Putnam competition. |
| Homeworks, Exams, Grading |
| No exams in this course. Just homeworks and math contests. Problem sets are going to be given weekly, and you are supposed to solve as many of them as possible. You will receive A if you do at least 30% of the problems. Your performance on the contests does not counts towards your grade. You have to participate in Putnam Competition (Saturday, December 3, 2011) and Virginia Tech Regional Math Contest (Saturday, October 29, 2011). |
