We will cover the entire book.
There will be homeworks due every Friday. The assignments will be announced in class and also will be available at the home page for this course. No late homework will be accepted. Most homeworks will include at least one problem that requires a computer simulation. Students may program in any language that they wish (C, Pascal, Fortran, Basic, Maple, Mathematica).Here is a link to the Homework Assignments . There will be three one-hour tests and a final exam. The one-hour tests will be held on the following Fridays: February 14, March 28, April 25. The grading will be approximately: 60% hour tests, 33% final exam, 7% homework.NOTE: THE FINAL EXAM WILL BE ON TUESDAY, MAY 6, 2:00-5:00, Room 113 Physics Building.
