Parque Fundidora, Monterrey, Mexico

Formerly the site of heavy steel works, this area just east of the city center has been turned into a lovely park. The welcoming reception for the conference was held in one of the old foundry buildings, where the lighting was too dark for good photographs, but the fireworks were part of that reception.
