[My Picture]

  • I was born and grew up in Hong Kong, China. Here are some pictures of me when I was a child.


  • In 1992, I moved half-way across the planet to attend Duke University, where I studied Computer Science and Physics.


  • I then attended graduate school at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Toronto. My dissertation research was on numerical methods for weather prediction problems.


  • From February to December 2001, I was a post-doctoral fellow at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, Boulder, Colorado.


  • From Januray 2002 to June 2004, I was a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Mathematics of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.


  • Since July 2007, I have been an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics of Duke University, Durham, North Carolina.


  • On 24 June 2000, my husband and I got married at the Duke University Chapel in Durham, North Carolina. Here is our wedding page.
