PRUV Fellowships
Practical Research for Undergraduates with VIGRE
When a degree from a major university is just not enough.
Monday May 19 - Friday June 27, 2008 (may be adjusted)
- Participate in a 6 weeks research mentorship in mathematics.
- Collaborate with graduate students and post docs in a field of interest to you.
- Share the experiences of undergraduates with similar goals and interests.
- Continue your project in your senior year in independent studies courses with the goal of Graduation with Distinction.
- Develop contacts with potential employers.
Primary consideration will be given to Junior math majors or minors with a solid background in mathematics, but Sophomores with an interest in research are encouraged to apply.
Subject to funding, the stipend for 2008 PRUV Fellows will be at least $3200.
