Title: Wave propagation and scattering in periodic media
Instructor: Stephanos Venakides

The minicourse will address the subject  via the  Helmholtz
equation studied through boundary integral equations and dispersion
relations. It will start with potential layer theory and introduce Calderon
projections, Bloch theory and the theory of guided waves on structures with
(n-1) dimensional periodicity in an n dimensional environment.
