Math 268: Topics in Differential Geometry

After a review of the foundations of Differential Geometry (Metrics, Riemann curvature tensor, etc.), we will describe applications of Differential Geometry and PDE to General Relativity. Topics will range from minimal surfaces and the Positive Mass Theorem to current research on black holes.
