Math 273: Algebraic Geometry

Varieties, sheaves, schemes, morphisms, divisors, vector bundles.
Roughly speaking, the course will cover Chapter II of Hartshorne's
1977 book, with additional material and examples from other sources.
Math 252 (a rigorous course in commutative algebra) will be assumed;
Math 272 (Riemann surfaces) will not.
