Math 214S: Modeling of Biological Systems (Seminar)
Instructor: J. Harer

This course is a research seminar on methods for modelling biological
systems. The exact content will be based on the interests of the students
who will be expected to complete an individual modelling project by the end
of the course. The start will be a review of methods of differential
equations and probability, and then it will move to the use of these
techniques in the development of models in biology. The first half of the
course will be lecture and discussion based, while the second half will
consist of student presentations on their individual projects and class
discussions. Projects will be agreed upon with the professor during the
first weeks of the course.

This course cannot be taken by students who have already taken MBS200S as it
serves as the capstone course for the MBS certificate.
