Authoring Online Interactive
Materials in Mathematics
Resources
The following materials may be useful to you as you work through the project.
- Mathlet Software
- Director/Shock
Wave . The latest version of the authoring tool
is Director MX and the educational price is $500 form Macromedia.
The Shockwave
Plugin is free.
- Flash. The
latest version is Flash MX. The authoring tool is part of
Studio MX, a good package, at an educational price of $200.
It is also
available as a stand alone product at the Macromedia

- Java. Frank's comment: There are many possibilities, some free and some not .
My advice here is to find someone you can work with and follow their
recommendation. Java is difficult and having a resource available is very
helpful.
