MILLENNIUM HOTEL

The Millennium Hotel is located at 2800 Campus Walk Avenue, just a few minutes away from Duke Campus and the Physics Building by car or a 15-20 minute walk.  Internet is free and you may purchase a Shuttle ticket to and from campus for $2 per day.

This is the hotel that we recommend, and we have reserved a block of rooms for participants in the festival at $105 per room per night (plus tax) until April 13.  If you are making reservations and cannot find availability, contact Hubert Bray at bray@math.duke.edu and we will post more options on this website.

If you prefer you may also call the hotel directly at 1-800-633-5379. If you call, Please be sure to ask for a room under the Duke University Department of Mathematics Geometry Festival Room Block to get the discounted rate.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

This Geometry Festival is supported by grants from The National Science Foundation, UNC Chapel-Hill, and Duke University.

From the funds remaining after conference expenses are paid, partial reimbursement of travel and hotel costs will be made to some participants, with preference given to graduate students and younger faculty who do not have NSF or other grant or school support. Please check the appropriate boxes and provide the indicated information on the registration form to help us with this.

Those interested in applying for travel funds should be ready to provide a vita, including list of publications, at the time of registering.  We will need to know whether other NSF grant or school support is available.

Requests for travel support will be accepted up to the time of the Festival.
