Jersey Institute of Technology. She works on the upper respiratory tract,
health risk assesment, and non-linear optics.
Susan Rodger
is an Associate Professor of the Practice in Computer Science
here at Duke. The title of her talk was "Integrating Visualization and
Animation into the Teaching of Computer Science Courses"
Kirsten Travers
got her PhD at Duke in 1998. She is an analyst for Watch Hill Capital, LLC.
The title of her talk was "Capital Markets and Financing the Growth of a
Company".
Mary Creason is a Senior Lecturing Fellow in Duke's Physics Department.
She plans to give a brief overview of
applications of physics to forensic science and then expore a particular
case study.
Barbara Lee Keyfitz
is a Professor at the University of Houston. She works on conservation laws and
talked about a mathematical model for traffic flow.
